Answer: When booking multiple rooms it’s important consider several housing portal limitations:
- The housing portal limits you to booking a maximum of 20 rooms per session, regardless of the room limit assigned to your organization. ⚠ Do not exceed your room limit—you will be required to cancel all rooms booked in excess of your room limit, incurring cancellation fees in the process.
- During each session, you can book rooms at one hotel property only.
- Once you reach the Booking Contact Information page, the system holds selected rooms and room types for 10 minutes. From that page forward, you must complete the session in time or start over.
- Upon completing each session, you will receive a “master acknowledgment” email listing the rooms booked, including both master and individual room acknowledgment numbers.
The master acknowledgment is a powerful tool for keeping your bookings organized. When managing room assignments you can input the master acknowledgment number to modify/cancel all rooms from that session or input individual booking acknowledgment numbers to modify/cancel individual room assignments. If you book rooms in multiple sessions, you will receive multiple master acknowledgment email messages to record and manage your assignments.
